Seismic Dance Event drops phase one lineup for ninth edition

Seismic Dance Event has dropped the phase one lineup for its 9.0 edition, returning to The Concourse Project in Austin from Nov. 13-15, 2026.

Under Austin’s RealMusic Events, Seismic has built itself into an alternative to the traditional “crowd pleasing” festival circuit: house and techno only, one venue, and a devoted crowd that treats the weekend as much like a reunion as a festival.

Phase one is led by British trance trio Above & Beyond, melodic electronic-pop producer Porter Robinson, and Austin’s own Sara Landry, playing hard techno on home turf. They’re joined by masked viral act horsegiirl, Amsterdam trance and acid selector KI/KI, and British disco and house producer SG Lewis. The full lineup, more than 30 artists deep, is on the poster.

Seismic has always balanced globally known headliners with emerging and underground names, and phase one is no different. Past the trance and pop-leaning acts at the top, it digs into harder, faster territory, anchored by the gabber and hardcore of Berlin duo Brutalismus 3000 and the high-speed techno of Polish producer VTSS, plus a long list of risers most attendees will be hearing for the first time. Half the appeal is showing up to find out who you’ll be talking about next year.

Seismic is anchored at The Concourse Project, an independently run Austin venue that opened in 2021 and has climbed to No. 3 on DJ Mag’s list of the best clubs in the U.S. and No. 31 worldwide. The space is built around a hybrid indoor-outdoor layout, splitting the weekend across three stages, each with its own visual identity and sound system: the indoor Volcano, the outdoor Tsunami, and the Frequency stage.
