Day Zero unveils 2027 Tulum lineup

Damian Lazarus’ Day Zero returns to the jungle outside Tulum on Jan. 9, 2027, marking the festival’s 13th edition in its original home. Tickets are now on sale for the single-day, sunset-to-sunrise gathering.

The festival began in the same jungle in 2012, timed to the final day of the Mayan calendar. Since then, Day Zero has carried its overnight ritual format beyond Mexico, with debut editions in Brazil and Bali both landing in 2026.

Leading the lineup is Berlin producer &ME, known for his melodic, groove-driven house and techno. He’s joined by Brazilian producer Vintage Culture, Montreal’s Tiga and New York house DJ Victor Calderone.

Tel Aviv producer Mita Gami, known for his psychedelic house sound, and American pianist and producer LP Giobbi round out the top of the lineup.

Deep in the jungle, the El Teatro stage stays dedicated to Mexico’s underground scene, a distinction Day Zero holds as the first international festival in the country to give an entire stage over to homegrown artists. This year’s stage includes Chihuahua electro-funk act Midnight Generation, Tijuana house and techno duo Soul of Hex and live supergroup Secret Echoes, made up of Metrika, Estefani Brolo, and Balcazar.

Day Zero’s Crosstown Consciousness initiative continues supporting the region around the festival, funding solar-powered lighting in Dos Ojos, turtle conservation along Tulum’s coastline and the restoration of local buildings using blocks made from sargassum. Since 2022, the festival has also partnered with Mexican company PETGAS to convert festival plastic waste into biodegradable fuel used to power onsite infrastructure. Day Zero works with local Mayan leaders to weave traditional ceremony into the night, a relationship the festival has maintained since its first edition.

Lazarus will once again close out the night with his traditional sunrise set, as the jungle gives way to daylight. Tickets are on sale now.
