PROPER NYE/NYD unveils 2026 phase one lineup for Petco Park

FNGRS CRSSD has unveiled the phase one lineup for PROPER NYE/NYD 2026, returning to Petco Park in San Diego on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

This year’s lineup spans global club culture. It moves from house and melodic sounds toward techno and underground grooves, setting the stage to close out 2026 and usher in the new year.

Petco Park’s field and surrounding grounds give PROPER a stadium-scale footprint uncommon among New Year’s events, with downtown San Diego’s skyline as the backdrop. The ballpark, home of the San Diego Padres, has hosted every edition of the festival to date.

PROPER is presented by FNGRS CRSSD, the team behind CRSSD Festival, which runs each spring and fall at San Diego’s Waterfront Park. The 2026 edition marks the festival’s fifth edition at Petco Park since it launched in 2022.

Leading the lineup are techno artist Sara Landry, who played PROPER’s 2025 edition, and multi-platinum producer Murda Beatz, known for hip-hop and trap production work with Drake and Migos. French techno artist I Hate Models and Berlin hard techno artist Klangkuenstler push toward the heavier end of the spectrum, while melodic house artist Lane 8 brings his chill atmospheric sound back to San Diego.

UK tech house artist Cloonee, Irish artist KETTAMA, and Manchester selector Josh Baker will each perform individual sets across the weekend before joining forces for a Cloonee b2b KETTAMA b2b Josh Baker set. Chicago house veteran Green Velvet and UK bass house artist Chris Lorenzo anchor the house side, joined by Australian producer Odd Mob, who returns for a second straight PROPER appearance.

This Never Happened, Lane 8’s record label and touring concept, runs on a no-phones policy that asks crowds to leave their devices behind and stay present in the music. The label turns 10 in 2026, and its PROPER stage takeover extends that to the festival’s dance floor.

Daisy Chain, the San Diego label and party series Player Dave founded in 2022, takes over a stage again after debuting at last year’s edition. The project mixes bass, garage, and melodic electronic sounds, spotlighting both rising and touring artists from the city’s scene.

Tickets go on sale in three stages. The Alumni Presale begins Tuesday, Sept. 8 at noon PT, followed by the Community Presale on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at noon PT. Tickets open to the general public that same day at 2 p.m. PT. Fans can sign up for presale access through Laylo.

PROPER NYE/NYD is open to guests 21 and older.
