Day Zero is heading home. The festival founded by Damian Lazarus returns to the Tulum jungle on Jan. 9, 2027, for another single-night gathering beneath the Yucatán canopy. Day Zero spent the past year expanding its constellation, making its Brazilian debut in São Miguel dos Milagres and bringing the gathering to Bali for the first time. Tulum is where it all started, born during the 2012 Mayan calendar's final day. The event runs sunset to sunrise as a single continuous ceremony, with Lazarus closing the night at dawn in what has become the series' signature moment. Towering structures rise from the forest floor, ceremonial performers move through the crowd, and the jungle itself becomes part of the production.
