Helsinki’s Flow Festival returns for its 21st edition Aug. 14-16 at the Suvilahti Power Plant, a former industrial complex near the city center. Flow has been running since 2004, growing from a club event into a festival that draws 90,000 visitors over three days, with a lineup that spans Florence + The Machine, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PinkPantheress, Clipse, and Turnstile alongside its electronic stages. The Suvilahti Power Plant is a converted industrial complex, and its outdoor spaces and factory architecture give the stages a character distinct from most European festival venues. Flow has always mixed broadly across genres, pairing its electronic side with rock, hip-hop, and pop headliners across the same weekend. Babes in Canyon, the Washington-based duo of Nathan and Sophia Hamer, have released “Echo,” their first new music since their 2025 debut album The New Loud. A U.S. tour in support of the release runs through late May, with a Madison stop on April 22 at The Annex. Nathan Hamer came to Babes in Canyon after years as a founding member of the indie-pop band Kuinka, with national headlining tours and festival appearances behind him. He wanted a different path. “I wanted to start a project that explored the outer edges of folk music, that pushed what I love about folk and americana song structures into a new soundscape,” said Hamer. He and Sophia wrote their first song stranded in a remote cabin during a winter storm. The New Loud, released in September 2025, built on two EPs, Second Cities […]

ARC Music Festival is bringing house music home — and this year, it’s doing it over four days. The Chicago event returns to Union Park for Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4–7, 2026, with a lineup headlined by Anyma, Underworld, Michael Bibi, Honey Dijon, and Sara Landry presents ETERNALISM. The lineup carries a strong Chicago contingent, with Honey Dijon topping the card as a native returning to Union Park. Derrick Carter, one of Chicago house’s foundational voices, returns alongside Mike Dunn and Azzecca, a rising name in the city’s acid and dark dance scene. Not only are house heads getting an entire extra day of music, but ARC is also introducing a new stage environment: The Midway. The name pulls from Chicago’s historic Midway Plaisance, nodding to Midway International Airport and the architectural legacy of the original Midway Gardens. The stage […]

ILLENIUM has launched a nine-night residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, performing his newly released sixth studio album ODYSSEY in one of the most ambitious live productions in electronic music. The residency runs across three weekends: March 5, 6, 7 and 8, followed by March 11, 12, 13 and 14, finally April 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each night features a different special guest: Alok, Dab The Sky, Wooli, Levity, Audien, Ray Volpe, SLANDER, DJ Diesel and Tape B. ILLENIUM is only the second electronic artist to headline the Sphere.
