Brooklyn folk-pop trio Camp Bedford have released their latest single “So Easy,” their second release of 2026. The track is out now on all major streaming platforms.
Written and performed by Roxanne Quilty, Rebekah Rae and Kailey Prior, “So Easy” was self-produced by Rae and mastered by Brian Iele. The self-produced approach continues a trend for the group, which has built its catalog largely on its own terms since forming in 2021, releasing four EPs and earning radio play across the U.S., Canada, Spain, the U.K. and Australia.

“So Easy” is a track about moving on after being left behind, after the sudden end to a deep connection. The lyrics open in the confusion and hurt of being left behind, move through the frustration of hindsight, and land on something more resolved. Closure isn’t something you wait for. You make it yourself.
The band describes the single as a continuation of their evolving sound, one that captures the raw energy of their live shows in a studio setting. Having seen them live, that claim holds up. And if you’ve caught Camp Bedford live, the appeal is obvious.

Fair warning: this song will get stuck in your head. For me, it was stuck after seeing them open for Babes in Canyon; it got stuck after every listen, and at this point it’s living rent free in my head.
The single captures everything that makes Camp Bedford unique. There are sections built for singing along, the kind that lock into your brain and don’t leave. It’s acoustic, but far from the boring, safe version of acoustic that people picture when they hear the word. There’s raw energy and power behind it, and you can tell the whole thing came from a real place.
From the writing to Rae’s production to the mastering, the song is put together really well. The vocals are clean but carry a natural grit, likely double-tracked in spots, and they sit exactly where they should in the mix. There’s no extra sonic space around them, no fighting for room. They’re just there, right where they should be.
The balance across the whole track is worth noting. You can hear everything: bass, guitar, drums, samples, and nothing is buried. The bass in particular is handled well, which is easy to overlook in a genre where it sometimes gets shortchanged. It is noticeable, but not overpowering. The low end can make or break a track, and in this instance, it’s making the track.
It’s clear this isn’t a bedroom recording. Rae knows what she’s doing behind the board. The production has a tightness to it, the performances are locked in, but it doesn’t sound overly polished or quantized to the grid. There’s a looseness around the edges that keeps it feeling human.

The band is currently playing nationwide with Babes in Canyon, supporting The New Loud tour. Tickets are on sale now. They’ll wrap up their touring season this summer with slots in the Zephyr Folk Festival and more to be announced.
