John Summit releases new single “Light Years” featuring Inéz

House music powerhouse John Summit has dropped his latest single “Light Years” featuring vocalist Inéz. The track showcases Summit’s signature production style that’s made him one of dance music’s most exciting artists.

“Light Years” blends euphoric builds with deep, punchy basslines that create an infectious energy, alternating between tension and release. The bright, melodic synths craft an uplifting, atmosphere that’s both hypnotic and exhilarating – perfect for Summit’s high-energy sets this festival season.

Summit gave fans an exclusive preview of the new track during his recent headline performances in London and Amsterdam, as well as at appearances at The Sphere in Las Vegas and SXSW in Austin, where the song sent waves of energy through the crowd before its official release.

“Light Years” features Berlin-based vocalist Inéz, who brings a new dimension to Summit’s sound. Music fans might recognize her voice from Peter Fox’s hit “Zukunft Pink” or her collaboration with Solomun on “Tuk Tuk” which has racked up over 23 million streams. Inéz continues to push boundaries and bring her unique style to electronic music collaborations, with her band ÄTNA.

The combination of Inéz’s vocals with Summit’s signature sound packs the track with tension and release. This makes it the perfect choice for a packed dance floor, or a late night festival headliner set. To spice things up, Summit blends his signature rhythms with a splash of stutter house vibe, something that I’m sure we’ll be hearing more of over the summer.  

The release of “Light Years” continues Summit’s impressive momentum after a year of releasing remarkable new music, while headlining festivals across the country. His debut album “Comfort In Chaos,” released in July 2024, has left a mark on the electronic music scene, debuting at #2 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and #39 on the Billboard 200.

Dance music fans can catch John Summit headlining Ultra Miami with Dom Dolla as their collaboration project Everything Always, where their signature vibe is bound to light up the main stage. Summit also recently announced a two-week Experts Only residency in Ibiza for June 20 and 27, with additional international dates scheduled throughout spring and summer 2025.
