GRIDLIFE Midwest expands lineup for 2025

AD

GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival is racing into its 12th year with an expanded lineup of electronic music and high-octane motorsports at Michigan’s Gingerman Raceway from June 6-8, 2025. Self-described as “The Music Festival At High Speed,” GRIDLIFE continues its tradition of merging automotive culture with electronic music, bringing together communities that might otherwise never cross paths.

“GRIDLIFE Midwest is leveling up for year 12,” says festival organizer Chris Stewart. “With more action on track and bigger performances on the main stage, plus a refreshed festival layout and upgraded production, this is the biggest party of the year for us.”

The 2025 lineup features four electronic music headliners spanning multiple genres. Chicago trio Levity returns to GRIDLIFE after their 2022 side stage appearance, now elevated to headline status. Joined by Sullivan King, known for his metal-infused dubstep productions, along with festival first-timers Dr. Fresch and NGHTMRE.

The supporting lineup features rising electronic music talents, including dubstep producer LAYZ, trap artist Rossy, speed house act CHYL, experimental bass producer Super Future, melodic bass artist Dennett, and Atlanta-based bass musician OkayJake.

What makes GRIDLIFE different from other music festivals is the integration of high-performance motorsports throughout the weekend. Attendees can witness professional drift exhibitions, competitive time attack racing, and the newly introduced GLGT class, which Stewart describes as “our fastest, most intense wheel-to-wheel racing yet.”

The festival creates unique crossover moments between the musical and automotive communities. Last year, electronic artist Mersiv participated in a 750-horsepower ride-along with Formula Drift veteran Justin Pawlak and at GRIDLIFE Summer Apex T-Pain hosted main stage karaoke at night while drifting during the day with Nappy Boy Automotive creating a memorable experience that exemplifies the festival’s cross-cultural appeal.

For attendees seeking deeper immersion in automotive culture, GRIDLIFE offers multiple ways to engage beyond spectating. Car enthusiasts can apply to exhibit their vehicles in the #GRIDLIFE Showcase, test their skills in the Virtual Racing Arcade, explore vendor areas, and get up-close looks at high-profile custom builds.

Stewart emphasizes that the festival welcomes everyone from dedicated car enthusiasts to those who are simply “car curious,” creating an accessible entry point into automotive culture that might otherwise feel intimidating to newcomers.

The full festival experience includes on-site camping options, with Trackside Camping providing prime viewing of the racing action between turns 2 and 3. Early arrival passes are available for Thursday access, and VIP packages include exclusive viewing areas, a private bar, drink tickets, limited-edition merchandise, and entry into a drift taxi raffle.

For many attendees, GRIDLIFE represents a unique cultural intersection not found elsewhere in the festival landscape – a place where the boundaries between music festival and motorsports event blur into a singular high-energy experience that celebrates the passions and communities surrounding both worlds. Tickets for GRIDLIFE Midwest 2025 are available now.
