Lineups for music festivals around the globe are slowly coming together for the 2025 season, and in just a few short weeks, Detroit’s Movement 2025 will bring thousands of electronic music fans to the heart of the Motor City from May 25-27. Headliners at this year’s event include Charlotte De Witte, Jamie XX, John Summit, Sammy Virji, Mau P and more.
Movement was founded in 2000 in the city where techno was born, Detroit. Over 115 performers will be featured across six stages in Hart Plaza over Memorial Day weekend. Movement isn’t just for fans of techno; over the last several years festival organizers have continued to diversify the lineup to include artists from a broader range of genres. This year the trend continues. Attendees can enjoy deep house, hip-hop and drum-and-bass, among other genres.
Movement pays homage to its local community and features many Detroit born-and-raised artists like DJ Minx, Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale, DJ Holographic, Sheefy McFly and a curated collection of rising stars in the Detroit music scene.
If you’re still looking for plans for Memorial Day weekend and don’t mind a drive to Michigan, one- and three-day GA and VIP passes are available now.
