Day Zero Announces Bali 2026 Lineup

Damian Lazarus has announced the lineup for Day Zero Bali, marking the festival’s Indonesian debut on April 17, 2026, at GWK Cultural Park. The acclaimed series continues its global expansion with a gathering that blends electronic music with Bali’s cultural heritage.

The 2026 edition adds another point to Day Zero’s growing constellation of events. Since launching in Tulum’s jungle during the 2012 Mayan calendar’s final day, the festival has expanded to Israel’s ancient Masada mountain and Brazil’s coastal jungles. Each location gets chosen for how natural beauty and cultural significance come together.

British producer Bonobo brings a DJ set to the Bali debut, joined by German duo Âme and producer Jamie Jones. Chicago’s John Summit delivers his chart-topping house sound, while German producer Jan Blomqvist brings a live performance. Haitian-Canadian producer Francis Mercier rounds out the international headliners with his high-energy melodic house sounds.

The lineup brings more experimental and underground sounds with Acid Pauli, Afro house specialist Kitty Amor and deep groove specialist Brunello. Japanese selector RYOTA brings his underground Osaka sounds, joined by Norwegian producer Meera, live act Satori and collaborative project MĪMĪ x FY alongside Odyssey Crew.

Bali’s local scene gets represented through collective PNNY and producer Tina Colada. The approach continues Day Zero’s tradition of showcasing regional talent alongside international acts, similar to the festival’s El Teatro stage in Tulum that exclusively features Mexican producers.

True to Day Zero tradition, Lazarus will close the festival with his signature sunrise session. These sets have become the series’ defining moment, featuring rare edits and deep selections that guide dancers through the transition from night to day.

GWK Cultural Park sits above Bali’s southern peninsula, home to the towering statue of Hindu god Vishnu astride Garuda that rises more than 120 meters above the landscape. The site provides the natural setting Day Zero requires, where sound and cultural heritage meet.

The venue reflects two years of searching for a location that aligned with the festival’s vision to honor the land and culture while weaving ancient folklore and rituals into the experience. Bali’s reputation as a spiritual center, combined with its thriving creative community, made it the natural choice for Day Zero’s next chapter.

Crosstown Rebels, Lazarus’ imprint that has shaped underground electronic music for more than two decades, partnered with Savaya Group for the Bali edition. The local organization has helped build the island’s contemporary creative landscape through venues like Savaya, Desa Kitsuné and Ina Ré.

Day Zero Week runs April 14-19, featuring additional events across the island surrounding the main festival. Details on these satellite events will be announced later. The expansion to Bali positions Day Zero within Southeast Asia’s growing electronic music scene while keeping the festival’s commitment to cultural integration.

Registration opens for early ticket access, with general public sales beginning Thursday, January 15. More information is available at dayzerobali.com.
