All Things Go is leveling up in spectacular fashion, so be sure to mark your calendar for September 26-28, because this year the event is expanding to three full days. Because of that extra day you can expect even more incredible performances, unforgettable moments and so much more of the vibrant community experience that’s made it a must-attend event for music lovers across the nation.
Originally founded in 2014 as the All Things Go Fall Classic at DC’s Union Market, the event later expanded to the 15,000-capacity Yards Park in 2016 before moving to its current home at the 20,000-capacity Merriweather Post Pavilion in 2021. The festival has evolved dramatically since its humble beginnings in 2014, more than doubling in size year-over-year since 2018.
2023 marked the festival’s first two-day venture, featuring indie-pop royalty Lana Del Rey, hometown hero Maggie Rogers, the critically acclaimed supergroup boygenius and pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen.
The expansion to three days comes after two consecutive years of breaking attendance records that were almost certainly related to the incredible lineups. Last year’s festival featured a star-studded lineup featuring Janelle Monáe, Bleachers, Hozier, Reneé Rapp, Laufey, MUNA, Ethel Cain and Julien Baker.
The venues themselves enhance the one of a kind festival experience. Merriweather Post Pavilion offers a breathtaking 40-acre forest setting that’s been ranked among the top three outdoor music venues in America by Rolling Stone and Billboard. Recent enhancements include expanded facilities, pinball arcades and a historical sculpture garden honoring icons like Willie Nelson and Tina Turner.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills Stadium brings fascinating music history to the New York location. This Romanesque amphitheater once hosted tennis legends at the U.S. Open before becoming the site of legendary concerts by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix. After years of disuse, the venue was gloriously restored in 2013, combining vintage charm with modern amenities.
All Things Go is known for its consistent focus on elevating underrepresented voices in the music industry. The festival has a devoted community – affectionately dubbed “The Besties” – who’ve created one of music’s most inclusive, enthusiastic fan experiences. This passionate following has lovingly nicknamed the festival “Gay-chella,” “All Things Gay” and “Lesbopalooza,” reflecting the celebration of diversity and belonging that pulses through the event.
While the 2025 lineup remains under wraps, the festival’s track record promises an unmissable combination of chart-toppers and emerging talent. Stay tuned for artist announcements coming soon, with tickets to follow at allthingsgofestival.com.
